Hey everyone! if you are reading this, welcome!
i appreciate you taking the time to visit my portfolio. My friends call me JJ, so feel free to address me as such if you have any questions, comments or inquires.
My journey into photography began back in 2012-13 with a cellphone and a nikon coolpix. My scope during that time was chasing and following the work of my favorite street artists with my sister Tina, which led me into locations i would have never thought i'd go. It also led me meeting one of my very best friends, Joe, and my (now) wife, isadora.
since then, my scope has expanded into landscape, street, and portrait photography. Taking photos has fueled a love of traveling to new parts of the world, with aim to share my take through my own lens.
I consider myself a professional amateur, just aiming to have fun and learn more to expand this craft.

i am always trying to outdo myself, which is easier said than done much of the time. i like to frequent a lot of the same places to see what i can snag with different conditions, from time to time i get lucky. These days i aim to surround myself with other awesome creatives. it is incredibly motivating to discover something that they have done that just blows my mind and gets my own creative juices flowing.
